WHY DID RASHARD LEE LEAVE EARLY

i posted this on the plus boards, but i got no response. so maybe here

 

Just a question that i have been wondering about since i heard about it. Why is rashard lee leaving mtsu early? Did somebody tell him that he would be drafted high? will he even be drafted? I know that this years draft is supposed to be in short supply of running backs, but, is he really good enough to leave mtsu after his jr.year?

 

P.s. does anybody know what round he was projected to go in. how bout dewone hicks

I think it was family considerations. My understanding was he was good with his grades and would have graduated in '04 giving him the option of returning for his fourth year of eligibility or going pro.

 

I think it was a mistake, but I wish him good luck.

I dont think he will be drafted at all, someone will probably pick him up as a undrafter free agent.

Reshard's daddy has Juicy Locke syndrome. There were clashes between his dad and the coaching staff from the word go. It's a shame, Reshard is a great kid.

 

He'll be a late round draft pick. He's got too much raw talent not to be. Probably one of the top 30 athletes in the draft.

 

He was a high school quarterback and didn't switch to tailback till spring of '01 so he's still learning the position.

 

I would loved to have him back next year, but I wish him the best of luck in the pros.
