best junior pitchers in east tn?

Zach Stipe from Elizabethton is one of the best in the state.He has almost flawless mechanics.He may not throw the ball in the 80's but he can put the ball anywhere around the plate that he wants too.His curve ball wil eat you up and his change is just good.

Dane Bolton, Hixson High School. Dane had 11 strikeouts in a win against Lookout Valley and also had 11 strikeouts in a loss to Red Bank. Good size kid, 6'2", 215 lbs., good mechanics, throws 84-86 mph, needs to learn to throw inside more.

Blake Carver from Cleveland HS is on of the best Jr. pitchers in the entire state. He has excellent command and can pitch on both sides of the plate with three pitches. He also has a very good pickoff move that allows him to keep kids at first if they in fact reach first. His fastball is about 84-87 and hes still only 16. Go and see him later this year and you too will agree.

I agree with you Pureheat. Blake Carver is an awesome pitcher. I hear there are several DI schools interested in him. He was clocked at UT pitching 88 mph, but I think he usually pitches around 85-86 mph.

I would say it would be Brandon Knowles from Red Bank. He is really good and has great control and speed.He is one to watch.

zach stipe is the best~ he has more junk than a junkyard. he doesn't throw hard but has more accuracy than most pitchers.

There are at least 7 SEC schools that are interested at the moment and hes not pitched at all this year. Any word on how his rehab is going? I hear he will start pitching in games very soon.

waldrop of farragut is definitely one of the best pitchers in east tn, another good one from farragut is philip sherrod, both have good control but waldrop has better velocity.
