Columbia and Shelbyville tied tonight 1-1. Very intense game. Columbia had a goal disallowed on a close off sides call. Shelbyville scored off a free kick from a good head ball. Shelbyville controlled the play for the most part, but our defense stood up to them. We still managed a few real good scoring oppurtunities. The explanation for the free kick that Shelbyville scored on is still a mystery. Unsportsmanlike conduct. The ref thought our player was taunting. All in all great game and fair officiating. When I say fair I dont mean mediocre. I mean that they were fair to both sides with their calls. It was actually one of the better reffed games Ive seen. Still a little fuzzy on the unsportsmanlike call against us, but all in all great job by the refs. Brian Henningway is a superb ref.

Tullahoma beat lawrence county last night 3-1. tullahoma was winning 2-0 at the half. LC played hard and scored on a poor clearance midway throught the second. now if tullahoma can beat Franklin county friday night they can take third in regular season district play.

Hey guys, thanks for all the posts and updates on the district. Does anyone have a break down on the current standings? I know that Tullahoma is 2-3-0, Shelbyville is 3-0-1, and Columbia is 3-1-2 but I don't know the rest of the records. I have been able to keep up with Tullahoma, Columbia, and Shelbyville via coacht. Any help is appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
