Unaka being good?

I have heard over and over that Unaka is going to be a force to deal with this fall, I have even heard that they have an incoming freshman that can bench 415. I was just wondering if anyone who knows anything about Unaka would give me an answer and if other teams in their division should be worried

I really doubt Unaka will be a "good" team this upcoming year. They should be about average, probably will make the playoffs because a team in their region moved to 2A. No way they have a freshman benching that much, nobody in the state has a freshman benching that much.

Unaka can be good if they work on their skills and in the weight room. Teams have to be careful because a team can slip up on them. If the freshman can bench 415, he must have worked extremly hard. I think if it is true, people need to congratulate him not accuse him of steriod use like shotgunred. I am not a Unaka fan and never will be. But if your team plays Unaka dont over look them hard work will make anyone better then the next.

Shotgunred needs to learn to read between the lines and not jump to conclusions I see. First off I did not say it was true or not true but that anything is possible and we need to congratulate him on such an accomplishment if it is true and encourage him to achieve a higher goal. Instead of accusing him of steriod use when you read it you could have waited at least until you know it is true. The accusation is out of line and shows your maturity is not where it should be to be posting on these message boards to accuse and try to taint a person's effort when they can most likely not defend himself. This is all I have to say on this matter! Anyway good luck Cloudland and Unaka in the upcoming season.

I have noticed that everyone talks about speed, how much one can bench press and athletic ability. Football iskinda like boxing, to be successful you have got to be willing to indure some pain. No matter what a players skill, speed and strength is if he can't take some punishment then all this counts for very little. Lots of players are very skillful, but they just can't take it. Some less skillful make better ball players because they can take the punishment.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
