I was under the impression that the exemptions are granted by the principals. In fact I have been told several times that anyone who is zoned Blackmen and seeks an exemption it is always granted by their principal.

i was thinkin that also.... because i know ERic had to get the principal from Blackman to say he could go back to Oakland!! and then he might have had to ask Mr. Nolan too!! but the principal is who in the has the say~so in the end!! but til next time... have a good day!!

My understanding is they are treating this openin like that of Blackman. If you are not an upcomming jr. or sr., then you have the option of staying. if not, then you can not get a waiver. atleast not the first year.

as an Oakland grad, and a huge Oakland fan. i've been cheerin them on since i was about 7 years old and now im 23. i can say that Riverdale has always had a good football team. they have alway put alot of pride in there team! but about the talent being gone, i don't think so. i hope Riverdale plays good this year, but i wish Oakland would beat them!! Play Hard Oakland!

 

and in all those years i have NEVER missed a Oakland vs. Riverdale game!
