According to Murphy Fair's preview book, the coaches poll for the upcoming season went as follows:

 

1. (tie) BA (had the most 1st place votes)

1. (tie) MBA

3. McCallie

4. Baylor

5. MUS

6. CBHS

7. Father Ryan

I really do not see how one can pick anyone over (or in a tie with) MBA. Last year's champs with numerous stars returning. BA may be better but I do not believe you could rank them there preseason.

I would have to agree. Both teams will be good, but MBA certainly has shown they have the Eagle's number lately.
