4walls
Friday was a rain out at Tusculum. Soddy, Greenville and Cookeville scrimaged Thursday night in Tusculums indoor facilty. No clear winners or losers. All of the teams offenses looked better than the D's.
Baseballerfb13
well if you count touchdowns and what not, i think cookeville won the first 20 min quarter and soddy won the 2nd it was a pretty organized scrimmage for having to move it indoors
STARSNBARS
Can anyone from SD or Cookeville tell me how North Gwinnett looked at the Tusculum Camp? Thanks. Go Rebs.

southernpride
How did Cookeville look passing the ball? What about Soddy's passing game?
sd189
cookeville passed OK.They were about the same on both sides.SD so far has a pretty good passing attack as long as they give QB Tyler Phelps enough time to find a receiver to throw to.Phelps to Trae Jackson could be a tough thing to stop this year. Shula Backer
Phelps to Trae Jackson could be a tough thing to stop this year. sd189, is the SD coaching staff finding other ways to get the ball in Trae's hands this year? From what I saw of the games last year, it looked like he could make some plays in the open field, but the offensive scheme didn't seem to fit his ability. I'm not "knocking" the coaching staff, but I didn't really understand why the ball wasn't in his hands more often last year. But again, I didn't see every game last year. Maybe I should instead ask, is Trae the go to guy on this year's squad?
sd189
Trae is the #1 reciever this year, after making the move from RB where he split time with me last year.like you said,he is great in the open field, thats why they put him out at wideout. He has been a dominating force at WR.In the greenville scrimmage,he was getting double teamed but phelps kept threading the needle and jackson dominated the secondary all night.
