foxtrot11
ive heard rumors that lewis county will show more of a passing game this year..is there any truth to it and if so do they have the talent to pull it off?
LCpanthers90
I haven't heard that but it would be smart, we could be a better team if we would. If Lewis County teams passes more, I would have never quit Quarterback in Middle School. But I am not the coach so my opinion doesn't matter. Oh yeah I was Wondering, can a player go to a seperate school than who he plays for. for example can I go to school in Lewis County and play football in Perry County or Hickman County, or Hampshire, or any other surrounding school. Don't get me wrong I love LC but I am not allowed to play here, but I don't want to leave my friends.
Omega6
Naw you would only be able to do that if your school did not have football, so then you could go to another school in that county to play. Other wise you would have to move to that county or place to play or be ineligable for one year.
donhaney
When you rush for over 4000 yards in a season, at the high school level, you don't have to throw the ball to be successful. If you want the West Coast offense, watch the NFL.
Mayor of H'nwald
i agree with donhaney, passing is pretty but if you have a hardnose offense that doesn't need to air it out exeot just for fun, why do it? we've got a bus playing fullback!! foxtrot11
well i agree with that ,but by having a good passing game it helps to open up the running game by backing the defense up. the two work together..runnig the ball will open up the pass and passing opens up the run...and rushing for over 4000 yards is nice but what happens when your 3 rounds deep in the playoffs and they're puttin 10 guys in the box and you can't run???...you can only run the same things so many times before other teams catch on..and when that happens isnt it nice to have a solid passing game to fall back on???? wingman10
If they rushjed for 4000 yds, they sure don't need to throw. A good defense and a running game will win you a lot of games. The only time a team has to throw is when they are behind during the 4th quarter. Lewis County is considered a sound team and Coach Sharp is a very good coach and his teams always play hard. LCpanthers90
Well Don has a point , i believe I could help the team out a little if Coach Sharp would let me play this year, he doesn't even have to let me actually play on varsity, I can play B-Team and practice, cause i am gonna be weak if I wait till next year. I can play Wide Receiver, Tight End (if necessary), or Quarterback(piece of cake). And Outside Backer and Defensive End on defense, Come on Coach, I will work harder than ever. GO PANTHERS!!!!
