MBA vs LaVergne

I haven't heard much about this game. Everyone seems to be focused on talking about Trinity.

 

I have been around long enough to know that it is difficult to re-focus your attention after winning a big game.

 

Bottom line is that Trinity was not as good as everyone expected.

 

I believe that MBA will play at least two teams in DII AAA that are better than Trinity; so, get over the win and get ready to play Friday night!

A classic "'tweener" game for MBA: Trinity in the rear view mirror (hopefully) and a tough Mississippi squad on the road looming. I hope the Big Red stays focused, which I think they will.

 

What does LaVergne have this year?

Anyone know if these two teams have ever played. I know La Vergne is not that old of a school, but I can't remember if they have hooked up with the Big Red.

 

and BTW is there anything La Vergne can do to try and stop MBA?

This is the first-ever meeting between the two schools. MBA has played three teams from LaVergne's region in its history (Riverdale, Oakland, and Smyrna) but never LaVergne.

MBA will win a close one because I think they will take LaVergne lightly after that win over Trinity.

Even if MBA takes them lightly the Big Red will...ah, rollredroll will like this...the Big Red will roll. LaVernge really doesn't have much at all.

I saw Lavergne a bit in the 6 way scrimmage in Chattanooga and Sevier County and Lincoln County appeared much stronger. I think MBA wins easily even if they do not play particularly well.
