Who is the top coaches in the state?

How do you not include Wade Comer as a top 10 coach? He's took McKenzie from near the bottom and put them far into the state playoffs the past 2 years, and is expected to this year. He may not be the smartest tool in the shed intelligence wise, but he knows his football, and thats evident in McKenzie.

PA Pratt took the worst program in the state, Crockett County, and has turned the program completely around. Ten years ago, if you told a Cavalier fan that 7 wins was a bad season, you would have been laughed out of town. Not any more!

i believe that its not just one coach that is the best. i believe those honors go to the entire staff at gallatin. any of our coaches will do just about anything to help one of their players. some of us dont have the best home lives and they give us the father figure that many of us lack in our lives outside football. im grateful to play for a team like gallatin that has such a caring staff.

gary kreis from coalfield is THE BEST Coach in the state he knows what he is doing he just has a jack @$$ coaching staff for the most part but he has everything it takes and there is nobody better. not in this state or any state.

Couldn't agree more on Kreis. He takes those kids seriously and cares more than anyone really knows. Not just his players but he is in a K-12 school. From Kindergarten up he looks out after them and takes care of any need that is not being supplied. As to the assistants, no complaints, at least they're out there working for nothing but satisfaction of helping the kids and the community. My hat is off to the volunteer coaches. They do everything from marking the field, to mowing, painting and anything else to make the stadium better and comfortable for the fans. Who are really comming out this year.

 

Kreis is the best and a winning record to boot.

Ralph Potter at McCallie is the best high school football coach in Tenessee. Look at the size of that line. Their senior leader on the offensive line is Parker Baird who is a 200 lbs. player. They have offensive linemen under 200 lbs. and still are competitive for state every year. His triple option offense is designed for tough kids who do what they are suppossed to do. Perfect for the McCallie team. His assistants are also incredible. Troy Kemp is the best Lacrosse coach around and probably the greatest motivator I have ever seen. These coaches are the best coaches around.

I second the Glen McCadams vote from Lipscomb. Coach McCadams first of all is a great christian man. He coaches his players in like manner. He always teaches brotherhood in order to be a good football team. There is definately no "I" in team if you play for coach Mac. Keep up the great work coach Mac. He has definately made a difference in my boy's life & I am forever greatful to him. Go Mustangs!

Coach Bill Price..i mean he came into Coffee County and turned the program around and now they stand @ a 3-0 record...now i wonder why they even Hired Breeden!

i would definetely have to say coach jones for chattanooga central. he has busted his butt for 3 years now to get us a winning football team and 2 years ago we went 0-10 to now this year so far 4-0. coach jones is definetely the top coach in the state no doubt.
