The team I always hated was Eastern. They had the guy that looked like Col. Sanders on the basketball team while I was a student. They were a good football team but their basketball team was one-dimensional -- all mouth.

What's the problem with Tech? Two Saturdays in a row we have had a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter just to give it up and lose. We Tech fans have issues with

that.

Tech has fallen apart. I can not remember a season that I had such high hopes and then they vanished. In '94 Tech was ranked #11 in the nation and on the road to glory only to lose to Austin Peay.....that one hurt.

Tech is playing with a true freshman QB at this time and defense is not strong enough to hold teams down. Plus, they got some player issues at this time.

Hey,my son is thinking of going there in the fall 2004,and hopes of playing football for them and major in Civil Engineering. Can any of you give me some good reasons why he should go there?

I realize football may be very important to your son, however if he wants to be an engineer there is no place better for that major. The coaches at Tech are solid coaches and individuals. The city of Cookeville is a good size "small town" with a low crime rate.
