Marshall County vs Giles County

Don't know much about Giles County but they are always up for Marshall County. This has been a great game for years.

Although Giles Co. has been playing better recently, I think Marshall Co. will take them in this game. When Page defeated Giles 21-7 in Pulaski earlier, I wasn't impressed with Giles. Marshall made a comeback at Page, only losing 19-20. They need to not rely on Mario Davis so much & get other players involved on offense. Should be a great game.

Oh mama. This will be a doozie, as always. Giles County is VERY hot, winning 2 of their last 3, with the only loss coming to Lewis County. I cannot wait for the game this week, good luck to both teams. But just a tad bit more luck to Giles County.

 

Oh yeah, watch out for the "freak" play, when these two teams meet up, regardless of the sport, something REALLY weird happens. (the football hitting the goalpost 2 years ago, the lights going out at the basketball game, the two triple-OT basketball games).

Mario only had 60 yds rushing last game -- Nick Porter had 100+, Keon Davis had 100+ and Demarcus Brown had approx 50. Quite a few Sophomores getting playing time since we have so many injuries on offense and defense. Last week at one time we had 6 sophomores in the game on defense.

I would pick Giles...but they are playing at lewisburg....oh well Giles by 2....if all those sophs. play for marshall. Giles is one of the few teams not afraid of the tigers in this region.
