Here is the schedule for the entire tournament of 9AAA.

 

Saturday 10/11/2003

 

2PM Smyrna vs Gallatin

4PM Beech vs LaVergne

6PM Wilson Central vs White House

8PM Hendersonville vs Mt. Juliet

 

Monday 10/13/2003

 

6PM Winner of Smyrna/ Gallatin vs Winner of Hendersonville / Mt. Juliet

 

8PM Winner of Beech/LaVergne vs Winner of Wilson Central / White House

 

Wednesday 10/15/2003

 

Finals @ 7PM

 

All games will be played at White House High School

Here are the final scores from the first round in District 9AAA Playoffs;

 

Smyrna vs Gallatin 2-1

Beech vs LaVergne 4-1

Wilson Central vs White House 0-9

Hendersonville vs Mt. Juliet 7-0

 

Games continue Monday 10/13/2003 at White House with the semifinals;

 

Smyrna vs Hendersonville 6PM

Beech vs White House 8PM

    • I’m pissed about these charter/prep schools that compete in state with public schools…
    • Yes region 1 is extremely weak but a # 5 seed out of region 2 has no business in the playoffs either. 
    • They've had some great talent over the years. They usually don't whip no one but can be tough to stop on offence.
    • Could be a lot of reason from what I’ve seen so far.  The lights wouldn’t turn on at Smyrna last night and had to move games to Blackman could be a reason or maybe he is talking about how on some of the games on NFHS network the camera placement was absolutely asinine. ( had a camera set up right in front of a net and couldn’t see crap)
    • If Gordonsville can manage getting through these next 2 games without using him it will be ideal. ER was the last team to not have to pitch their #1 till the state championship i believe. Worked out well for them but they also had one of the best 1A staffs of all time that year. Only allowed one run the whole tournament and it was in the 7th inning.
