Darn, I have to answer this question again? Juniors David Campbell and David DeFatta from Franklin. Campbell consistently kickoffs to the endzone and is money on field goals (long of the year so far is 46 or 49). DeFatta is an excellent punter with a 44.0 avg right now, I believe, which is good enough for second in the mid-state. So there ya go... one of 'em might just end up with their named tossed around for the Mr. Football Kicker award. Probably not till next year though.

I GOTTA PUT A DOG IN THIS FIGHT. A YOUNG MAN BY THE NAME OF COLTON BRAGG. CAME OUT OF SOCCER AND DOES A GREAT JOB FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY. I BELIEVE HIS RANGE IS ABOUT FOURTY YARDS. HIS ACCURACY DROPS OFF WHEN HE GETS TO FIFTY BUT HE DOES HAVE ENOUGH ON IT. JUST NOT ACCURATE. OH AND HE CAN PUNT.

Tyler Lorenz is definitely one of the best kickers in the state. He is a junior at Hardin County High School. I am the sportswriter for the weekly newspaper in the Savannah Courier. I know a couple of weeks ago he had kicked 20 of 25 kickoffs into the endzone for touchbacks. One of those was a squib, one was an onsides kick, and at least one more went to the one-yard line. He has kicked four-of-four field goals on the season, including last minute game-winners against Jackson North Side and McNairy Central. He was the AP Player of the Week in 4A two weeks ago as well.

hands down jason foster. just an example of how jason uses his head and has an awesome kick. werre going for the extra point after a TD, david sharp snaps it to the holder, holder fumbles it and couldnt get to it, jason foster picks up the ball and runs it for a 2 point conversion, then later on gets a 45 yard field goal. and just came short of a 60 yarder

i dunno bout you but thats pretty good to me...o and that was just one game
