I think Traci will be in the top five but I'm not sure she can beat the CCS pack and their top four can run a long way as a pack. They take turns being number one but any one of the four is capable. My personal favorite is Paloma Floden (you gotta love that name) just because I know first hand how hard that girl works. I know Traci is an excellent soccer player and that cuts in to her XC training time which is why I think one of the four CCS girls will win. I have no doubt that if Traci were XC only she would have been right up there in the Tiffany Palmer, Jackie Pickle range. I wish WV the best. And I hope Traci and crew surprise me.

In my opinion i think bradley does have a better chance then people give them credit for. But i also think that Mcminn is just a lil' bit faster. At least that is what i saw at optimist. But you never know. People step up in big races so you never know what Bradley will do! Oh and by the way runnerboy it was Spencer Whittier talking trash telling McCool that "he let him win" the race at Industrial and then got beat again at Optimist. LOL!!! :P

Of course you have a chance. All it takes is for one of our guys to slip up and not do their part. I know how you guys feel because last year it was like we were the only ones that thought we would beat Houston. Of course I also think that we will region though but the bigger picture is state, so who ever does better there is the better team!

Adam, the wonderful thing about being the underdog is that no one is expecting great things. Everyone expects McMinn to win and they are under the pressure to live up to everyone's expectations. Maybe the pressure doesn't bother them or maybe it does. That's why they'll run the race instead of justing saying McMinn wins. You never know for sure what the outcome will be. Good luck.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
