Cumberland Co. VS. Lincoln Co.

Cumberland County will be coming to the Pit in hopes of spoiling Lincoln County's perfect regular season. What are their chances? 9-1 ain't bad, but 10-0 is better.

Cumberland Cty has as much of a chance of beating LC as I have of landing on the moon!

I am a CAV faithful but LC is the best high school football team I have seen in years.

Go all the way to the championship Falcons and bring the trophy back for region 3

The ball can take some funny bounces! BUT I think it would have to take atleast 20 or 30 funny bounces for CC to win!

I am not taking anything away from CC they have done a good job over there but they aren't ready to take Lincoln County down.LCHS by 21!

cumberland county has always had a decsent team but for them beating the falcons get real. not in the pit but anything can happen.

Cumberland County has a decent team...and appears to have lost a couple of close games that could have gone either way...

 

But...If you lose to Franklin County by 3 touchdowns? And Lincoln County beats Franklin County by a 41-0 score? You do the math...

 

Long night for the Jets...and I hate to be the bearer of bad news...but Lincoln County can beat them by 6-7 touchdowns if they want...

 

The good news is that there are LOTS of decent teams that would be 6-7 touchdown underdogs against the Falcons...

 

I suspect that LC will play a lot of 2nd and 3rd teamers in the 2nd half...since this is tune-up time for the playoffs and they'll want to keep the starters healthy...

I've been studying the scores of other games both these teams have played, especially those of common opponents. I've compared strength of schedules, margins of victories, weight of offensive lines against defensive lines, overall team speed....and how high the cheerleaders jump. I put all that in my computer and the result says that Lincoln County should win by five.

 

I just hope no one gets hurt...on either team.
