benchwarmer
Why don't we just use it as a true free throw, shoot it, and the in-bound it?
yodude
The new Free Throw Rule was a National Federation "experiment" last year in a couple of states. This year, the NF put it into the rule book. Keep in mind, while the National Federation is the governing rules body of sports, each state may put in their own "rule wrinkle" on something. The TSSAA uses about 99.8% of the rules from the NF in Tennessee.
gj850
I think you will see a shot clock in high school soon. It would get kids ready to play college type ball. I would like to see what people think about that. AAU already has a shot clock. I know it would be something else to train somebody to operate the clock. I know it would be great to have in girls basketball I know of one coach that if he gets a lead he will stall the basketball people don't pay to get in to a game just to watch someone dribble the ball all the time. supersteve17
IMHO the shot clock in high school basketball would be detrimental. Overall play would deteriorate considerably.
