5A PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS WHO GOES TO STATE

If Lincoln County gets past the 3rd round, it will be a great matchup whoever they play from Region 1 or 2. I agree with an early post, if it is Dobbyns Bennett, it will be tough to beat them on their home turf.

Getting past the third round is a big IF, but IF they do and DB is their next opponent, it doesn't matter where the game is played. Beating DB on their home turf won't be any tougher than beating Riverdale on their home turf. Not saying that it won't be tough, but from what I've seen and read, the Falcons are TOUGH.

 

I just wish DB or somebody in the east was still undefeated. I like seeing two undefeated teams (regardless of who they are) go at it in the playoffs. Undefeated teams always add more suspense.

 

There are several Region 4 teams that are going to make it difficult for Lincoln County to get to play ANYONE from the east. Don't expect these Rutherford County schools to roll over and play dead for the Falcons.

Ha HA I would like to see two undefeated teams in the playoffs as well. We had a big lead ( it was a while ago but I believe it was 21 points) on D-B in D-B. We looked like we (Oak Ridge) were on our way but D-B came back in the second half

and ended up being our only loss. Congrads to Lincolin Co. on their perfect regular season. Good Luck to everyone in the playoffs.

I just want to say good luck to all the teams out of 5A region 1. Represent us well. We had a very tough region this year and all four teams are certainly worthy of going to the playoffs. In my opinion, it was one of the thoughest regions in the state this year. Give 'em what you got!

My State Championship pick is Oak Ridge. I've seen them play a couple of times this season including the 34-13 pounding they gave Soddy Daisy this past week and they are hott. They are a very dangerous team and have plenty of leaders and playmakers to win big games. If they go to state i will probably attend. Roll Wildcats Roll!!!
