Biggest Gym in East TN

For 1A, Rockwood's and Oneida's gym are pretty big and pretty nice too. I think Rockwood's is bigger though.

Harriman's gym holds more than Oneida and Rockwood. Maryville also has a huge gym that should be towards the top of the list.

Thanks. Bradley is getting new bleachers for their gym and they should be installed by Thanksgiving.

Bradley also got a brand new floor in our gym this year. Now we're just waiting for the bleachers. It's gonna be nice when it gets done.

Yes, Tennessee High is where the Arby's Classic is played. It is called Viking Hall.

In the SE corner of the state, Bradley's reconfiguration (according to the Cleveland Daily Banner) will make the capacity of Jim Smiddy Arena at about 3500. McMinn County's gym holds about the same. Cleveland holds a little under 2000, Ooltewah holds around 1850, Cumberland County holds 2250, and Rhea holds around 1600. I understand Alcoa holds around 3000.

Viking Hall can hold up to 12,600 people. However, 6,500 of those spaces are on the space of the gym floor, so I guess in actuality, for ballgames, it can only hold about 8,000...

and man i dont know how much bradley holds but it can hold a ton of people. i remember when we had to go on the road at bradley for a substate game in 2001 and i just sat there in awe for about 15 minutes, when you see all those banners and when ya have heard all the stoires about coach smiddy, it is quite unique

Alcoa's gym definately has to be one of the best it has like closed circut tv for the people in the concession stand i think and it looks like it could hold a lot of people.
