Ooltewah's tournament is always a good one. Lot's of good teams will be there. Who will be attending? Will Soddy-Doddy be there?

Prediction: Ooltewah is a team coming on strong. They're going to challenge.

It's next Saturday, December 6th.

I hope that team from upstate New York is there. They add a great deal to the tournament, it's a great opportunity for our local kids to meet up with a team from a different part of the country.

Let's hope we get some local media coverage.

What I don't understand is why you people get on here to talk bad about other schools, this is a wrestling chat not a trash the other team with smart comments. Really guys, he asked who was gonna be at the Ooltewah Tournment and I said Red Bank, I didn't ask if anyone cared and I didn't ask for a smart reply downgrading our name as in "Red Skank" lets keep the comments toward wrestling and on another note I think whoever made this post cares if Red Bank will be there otherwise he would not have asked who will be there.

Thank you!

The New York team seems to be a strong team they beat cookeville in the last match 28 to 29. Winky shepard the 119 from central square beat sullivan from cookeville 8 to 12. shepard wrestled 103 last year and dominated. So definately watch for the central square team at Overton and Ooltewah. :justwrestle:

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
