Henry County Job

Just curious if anyone in that area has heard who has applied and who is interviewing? Please do not turn this thread into a bash thread that will get locked? I am really interested in finding out who may get the job, so I can call them and set up the possibility of being an asst. coach with them. Any info??

Several names were thrown around but no one yet has been announced. Henry County is a great place to live... good luck

O'kay, here are the names that have for sure applied: Paul Putman, Chuck Adams, and Cliff Curd.

 

As rumors go, heard Bob Markum might indeed apply and supposedly Gerald Young (who is a current school board member and former head-coach). BUT, those are just rumors.

Heard they have raised the head coaching supplement to 25% and an 11th and 12th month check. Why did they not do that for Counce a few years back and now throw all that in?

The coaching supplement and 11th and 12th checks was added right after Counce left. Not just now. As to why, I am not sure.

Coaches who have been interviewed are saying that the money has increased either the % or the 11th or 12th month has changed.

Hey Nike, you seem to know alot about the situation and what is going on. Who is the real rumor to get the job? I am a coach looking for a new job and I am curious to who might be the new coach at Henry Co. Does anyone have any clues? I was at the state games this weekend and noone seemed to know anything. It is very quiet for such a good place. I am just wondering if maybe it is not a good job as I thought. I was told that several head coaches in the area already turned down the job. Is this true? Oh well just curious if you had any info.

also a question for Dan Patrick: Is the Milan coach you are talking about Coach Morris? Surely he would not leave Milan for Henry County! Is this a true rumor or just talk?

As yahoo210 said Cliff Curd and Paul Putman put in for the head coach, I don't beleive Coach Admas has, have not talked to him in the last week so he might have. I have heard that Counce was called but has turned it down as well as Ward in Camden. At this point I don't know of anyone with a proven record stepping forward. Rumor has it and again this is rumor that their were something like 20 applications that came in and got tossed due to expeience. As soon as I hear something for sure I will let you know.
