I just want to here what ya'll think about the games! I like to here other peoples opinions! Well, I take that back. Some peoples opinions are stupid! Talk about whatever Classification you want to talk about!

3A Fulton vs. Covington

 

I've heard it both ways....Covington's better.....Fulton's better. I don't know much about covington bu that they're REALLY good and have aot fo speed. Fulton can match that. And one thing that an "outsider" might not realize is that Fulton's team has overcome HUGE odds to get where they are. Alot of people looking in on Fulton High School wouldn't thionk so because we were State Runners-up last year. But we lost 15 Seniors....Talented Seniors. Alot of people doubted this team from the get-go this year, saying we would not hardly even make the playoffs. There were people picking us 4th, 7th in our own REGION! These boys have come a long way. Alot of people expect Fulton to make it back to the boro and lose again like last year. Well......these boys are NOTHING like last year's team. I think they'll do it! They're Ready. not gonna make the same stupid mistakes they did last year. The mentality of the fulton High School Football progrm right now is "It's all abotu Business." Last year they were so caught up in the flashiness of being at the Championshp that they weren't focused...at all!!! This year....there'll not be alot of fun being had. They're focused and ready. Four words have oozed out of the walls of Fulton High School this week....TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS! And that's exactly what we intend to do. Who to watch for Fulton? #15 qb Justin Long. he has over 2000 yards passing and 900-1000 yards rushing. #99 Demarcus "Mookie" Stevens. 2 time Mr. Football Finalist Lineman. Incredbible football player. He's been cotained this year because teams have been double and triple-teaming him. D1 material. Also very impressive at tight-end. #5 wr Tylon Gibson. This boy can FLY . He's small....but he's quick, and he'll leave a defender standing stunned when he looks up and tylon's already ran the ball 70 yards downfield for a td. His past 2 weeks have nto been so great. The week leading up to the AE game he was sick with the Flu...still managed to catch the game-winning touchdown. Last week he didn't see any action b/c of a slightly injured knee. This may be an advantage in the beginning of the game for Fulton in that Covington hasn't seen much of him on game film.....if you assume Fulton gave them the last 2 films. #8 wr Demarcus "Tippy-toes" Matthews. He's a junior....but he's really stepped up here lately. he's got enough heart for every football player in the state! He'll do big things next year. # 75 BIG BAD Chad Kennedy. This boy is an OX!!! He will work you if you try to press past him haha! Whiever lines up with him ain't goin nowhere...prepare to stay put!!! #52 center josh Nelson....the boys been bustin heads!!! He threw the best block at AE 2 weeks ago i've seen all season! Don't underestimate him at all....he's got alot of aggression he takes out on the field.....he man-handle's people. #6 rb JAM Fine.....he has really stepped up in the second half of the season. He too is very fast. Don't let him get to the outside...if he does it's over! #2 db Brandon "B-dub" Wilkerson. WR's watch out....he'll come up with YOUR td pass at the right second every time!!! Lastly....#40 Antonio Hamilton....just watch this kid. He's HUGE fort his age and a good ball player. BTW....he's just a freshman!

I just want to wish Riverdale good luck! Be sure to take that big gold football home with you tomorrow. I know you can do it! If Lincoln County can't have it, we want you to win.
