darkglow
i'm not ready to talk about basketball yet!!!! there are alot of key players who graduate, but on the other hand, huntingdon brings back quite a few skilled players next year.. who do you think will be the offensive/defensive leaders for the stangs next year? also i think the question on everyone's mind is who will take the snaps next season? bc_powder
scott hampton at QB
htown03
Yes, when I was in 7th grade Scott was the qb and he did a great job. He has a cannon. The next year he led their freshmen team to a unbeaten season.
mood1801
All in all I was pretty impressed with Baker and Crocker what little bit they got to play. They both throw a good ball it looks like. If Hampton is as good a QB as he is a DB he's got my vote though.
BigH_Outlaw
I don't think Hampton will even be a factor at qb. Not saying he couldn't do it....he is a great qb, but I think they are fine with him now. As far as I am concerned....I think Crocker would be a better qb than Baker....but that is only my opinion. cnlreporter
Crocker will play at QB if he wants it bad enough Edited December 8, 2003 by cnlreporter
westtn2004state
What does Huntingdon look like in the trenches in 04?
cnlreporter
Drew Kelley and Cliff Bush return. Cale Belew will probably move to offense and they have some current freshmen who should step in a fill the remaining spots. I think they will be in good shape. westtn2004state
Have to have atleast someone to block for #19. Otherwise people are going to put 9 in the box. Will H-don have a drop back passing game? Edited December 8, 2003 by westtn2004state
cnlreporter
If Crocker matures at Qb it will take pressure off the running game, the kid has a big time arm. The people they will have on the line will do a good job. Coach Miller showed this year he can coach an o-line. Besides DL put 10 in the box and if you execute it doesn't matter. westtn2004state
Thats true. I wasnt at the game. What was david lipscombs problem? Milan held him to 38 yards? But I know donald had right at 200. But still...
cnlreporter
Dl had the 10 between the tackles and with h-town's blocking schemes and the wing-t and the fact they were keying on Donald allowed Bell to have a career night.
