Actually, 95-41. Van Buren looked intimidated from the outset, and had probably 10 turnovers in the first quarter, after which BA led 32-5.

Nice to hear. Not a shock, but still pleasant. Saw the BA bus coming home as our family headed back from the freeze-the-rednecks indoor ice festival tonight at Opryland. Glad to hear we won!

Couldn't Brentwood Academy afford to go to a tournament where they'd be challenged? They have the best team money can buy, yet they take on tiny rural schools. To the team's credit, they were gentlemen and never showed off. But this team had no reason to be in this tournament. They should go to a big name tournament like other exceptional teams do like Upperman or Jackson Co. girls or Livingston girls.

well maybe all of these teams were thought of to be major powerhouses before the season started, but just didnt shape up to be. i mean ive never heard of livingston whatever but they sound good. from the teams i know on their schedule, their schedule is really weak, and i wouldnt doubt if they went undefeated the whole year, the only challenge coming from giles county. by the way, that game has been moved to belmont ive heard.

With regard to your first comment, BA is playing in both this tournament

and the Father Ryan tournament. Evidently, the LA coach has a connection

to Coach Pitts and for that reason BA is in Livingston.

 

As for your "best team money can buy" comment, I'll let your ignorance

Brentwood Academy gives need-based financial aid, as does every member of Division II. Its distribution is determined by an independent agency in Princeton, New Jersey, who is completely blind to student information except for the financial specifics. Therefore, no athletic scholarships are given if that's what you are implying.
