Assuming it's correct (quite an assumption), the Tennessean.com shows that Ryan beat Overton last night 50-20. Overton swept the 103-125 classes while Ryan took all the rest. Overton forfeited 145 while Ryan forfeited 119. Results show that Dunning didn't wrestle.

Anyone know if this is true and, if so, why Dunning didn't wrestle?

Hiller went up to 130 and beat Jennings 12-1. Charlie Oddo of Ryan was back from his injury and won at 135. Ari went 125 and majored Demille.

Moss wrestled Adam Stark who is Ryans normal 171. He pinned without much trouble. THE WHITT sat out to give a younger wrestler mat time. Mayo, Adams, & Lomas all wresatled up a weight to give Aaron Bateman some mat time. Oddo looked good in his return to the mat. We are anxious to get to CBHS this weekend and see what they have.

103 Overton Dilgish Tayar decisioned Tyler Schoettle 12-3.

112 Overton Tim Buckley pinned Yaeger. :46

119 Overton Lyle Eden won by forfeit.

125 Overton Ari Ibrahim won by major decision over Jake Demille 0-0

130 Father Ryan Jimmy Hiller won by major decision over Josh Jennings 12-1

135 Father Ryan Charlie Oddo won by major decision over Dominic Davis 12-4

140 Father Ryan Frank Mondelli pinned Idris Dosky. 1:39

145 Father Ryan Nick Myers won by forfeit.

152 Father Ryan Matt Clarke pinned Daniel Meridith. 5:09

160 Father Ryan Aaron Bateman decisioned Larry Davis 4-3.

171 Father Ryan Tyler Mayo pinned Eric Martin. 2:43

189 Father Ryan Adam Stark pinned Moss. 1:36

215 Father Ryan Kyle Adams decisioned Darnell Hayes 16-11.

Mayo was not beaten by Bateman. Coach ask him to move up to give Aaron some mat time. At FRHS you can challenge a wrestler to wrestle-off three times. They have had one wrestle-off and Mayo won. It is my understanding that the same roster will go on Thursday against Brentwood High. Befroe that match they will potentially wrestle off again. For those who are older this is something that Joe Drennan started to keep the Irish competitive. Bateman could potentially wrestle at 152 if Matt Clark gets hammered by injury.
