I would go with Landon Hall from Maryville... the kid's only a freshmen and he won the Blount Co. Championships, Coke Tournament, and placed 2nd at Bradley

Well, Bond Davis is the best D1 145 in the rankings, and I think the rankings are right on this one. Also, Blair from McCallie pinned him in the finals of Father Ryan, so that makes him the best 145 in the state, so far.

I haven't seen the Greenback kid wrestle, but I have wrestled with Bond Davis and I have seen him wrestle top-notch competition. Also, I don't remember seeing the Greenback kid in the state finals last year, much less losing by only a couple of points. SO my pick would have to be Bond Davis.

Luke Sanders from Montgomery Central and JT Gordy from Sycamore are also 2 top notch 145s in the state.

Watch Spencer Sommers, he is only a sophomore and had it not been for his injury yesterday, I think he would have given Luke Sanders all he wanted and more.

 

Spencer is definately up and coming.

Landon Hall is good no doubt. He may be the best freshman 145 in the state, but just because he is doing well as a freshman doesn't make him the best. I think Bond Davis is by far the best...overall...

Thank you SPED for bringing a little rational thinking to this thread! This isn't golf, and you don't get a handicap for being less talented. If you want to know who the best freshman is, start a new thread. If you are going to talk about the BEST 145, it pretty much comes down to Sanders and Davis, unless you want to go into D2 and say Blair.
