I agree with everyone who believes this district is up for grabs. There will be many upsets this season, and I think it will be for the better. This year will have everyone checking out the papers and the website to find out score results. This will be a very exciting year for this district and I wish everyone luck. Go Viqueens! We are hoping to surprise some of you this year!

Even without Kory Forrest still has more softball talent than anybody in the district. Beasley, Zimmerle, Walls, Hooper, etc.. can all play. The only team that could possibly stop them from winning again is Richland with Johnson pitching. When she's on her game they don't even need a defense behind her.

BTW, any truth to the rumor that coach Reggie Campbell has resigned at Huntland?

Haven't heard anything on Reggie, I did hear maybe health reasons at one time but nothing lately, I can make a few calls. 11 A should fianally dominate the region this year and any of 4 teams could do it. The problem is Goodpasture and Ezell are re loaded. So unless a team really catches on at tournament time you are dead at sub state.

;) Don't under estimate the Forrest team. Pride and tradition in the softball program helps us put great teams on the field year after year. The question is can Forrest beat Richland's Johnson like we have in the past.

1 Forrest /Richland

2

3 Huntland

4 Moore Co.

That, and having more good players than the other teams. :D

I think the district will be pretty similar to the last couple of years. Forrest and Richland have the best talent and pitching and will battle it out at the top. Cornersville, Culleoka, and Huntland are all fairly even and will finish 3-5 in no particular order. Moore Co, Unionville, and Cascade will be improving and fighting to get into the upper half and possibly one of them could do it. Don't know much about Eagleville. If you don't have some talent/pitching this is a tough district for a struggling team to gain confidence and momentum in.

No health problems to report he just needed to calm his nerves with a really long smoke break. hahaha :D:D The Lady Hornets are over it and are ready to play, so the topic of Reggie Campbell can be put in the past.
