I'll go with Steve Logsdon and the Bradley Bears.

Steve's wrestlers will wear them down and get those key pins in the second and third period. One thing's for sure, they will manage control by getting the first takedown and controlling on top.

 

ahh, I can't imagine what method they'll use, but they will control.

 

What's so funny, we all really know the control answer and even Parkview does as well. BUT, they will not be able to counter it.

 

That's what defines a great wrestler to me and Steve has enough of them to get the job done. Nobody tops Bradley's intense drilling. Hope to get down there for this one.

It would not be wise to underestimate Parkview. They are bringing a loaded team with 8 state qualifiers on it. Just look what they've done in tournaments in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio. Remember, they beat Baylor 33 - 23.

 

I think this meet will come down to the freshmen on both teams.

Steve is not lacking in wisdom and I'm sure he's not strutting around overconfident, but I think one comparison of common opponents (if this could be arranged) would be the score between Bradley and Baylor. Most would agree that 33-23 in favor of Bradley could be easily different.

 

Parkview obviously will be well prepared, I just believe Bradley will control, perhaps not roll - but win. Pins will be a major factor.

The big guys may be the larger factor on the outcome of this match. I predict a 15 - 20 pt. spread in favor of Bradley, maybe bigger if the match starts with the lower weights; thereby, producing momentum in favor of Bradley.
