Senior Nationals allows you to compete in a weight class so long as you competed there at least once during your senior year. With the four pounds over scratch at the Soddy Inv., Kyle James could weigh 123 and compete at 119. The same with Ryan Scott weighing 144 and cometing at 140. This now allows James and Scott to compete at Nationals at 119 and 140 respectively where they are given three pounds over scratch.

Bodylock2,

As far as state is concerned, James should be at 125. You did ask why. I ask why not? He did beat Cordell last year so has nothing to fear at 119. The problem is that he has not made it down to 119, certified at 125, has wrestled all year at 125 so can't satisfy the half weigh-in rules. Of course at 125, there are is really no one that can challenge him so long as he keeps his focus.
