Your Team's Defensive Stopper

The defensive stopper for the Clinton Dragons would have to be Trey Shoemaker. He's quick and can't be shaken. Also, Mykail Vibbert held JaJuan Smith from McMinn County, who averaged around 40, to 12 points. Tevah Morris holds down the middle, with around 50 blocks and 219 rebounds.

Sounds to me like Mykail must have really shut him down at McMinn also, to 42 points?

i agree hsfball that anthony is fantastic at defense but i hear from inside sources that he is sick of bball and wants the season to end so we will all see how hot he is tomorrow and if he truly gives it his all i doubt he will

The BEST all-around defensive player in the state is a sophomore. His name is Willie Kemp! I am not saying this because he's from the same town as I. Just telling the truth. Some of the best shot blockers that I've seen are T. Smith from Giles and O. Kemp from Bolivar. They have timing that can't be taught. Put Willie Kemp on the toughest player from any team and you would probably feel confident!

Alcoa's other best defender would either have to be Andrew Monroe (the energizer bunny) because of his quickness, or Nick Pasqua ( The Proffessor) because of the way he outhinks his opponents

Thank goodness Lipscomb was able to overcome Anthony Hopkins not wanting to win. He didn't even hardly contribute to the game. All he did was hold the MVP of 7aa to about 6 points. I wish he would just quit.

Brent, alright if he is a DL athlete and 11 is in his screenname, it could be Burton Elrod. However, i just dont think he is capable. Who knows, and really, who cares. Oh, and Hops didnt hit crucial free throws either against Upperman and have several steals. Keep it up Hops.

dlballer11, I don't think your inside sources are quite as "inside" as mine. Anthony, who happens to be one of the toughest defenders in the state, any classification, is not "sick" of basketball. I know he will be ready for whoever we play next.
