I'm guessing Christian Brothers will have a good team, because they seem to be a perennial force. I don't know anything solid, though.

Did i see you say somewhere that you were gonna try to make it out to a Webb game this year? If so, you should try to come to the Webb/Baylor game. It's at Webb this year and is on April 3 (a saturday).

 

 

Anyway, i never did say anything about the east so I figured I'd say it now. McCallie will start 8 seniors while Webb has 6 starters returning along with two other players who saw alot of varsity time last year. I would expect them to be the preseason favorites. Webb only lost one pitcher from last year also.

Who is going to be the best pitcher in the middle region?

McCallie has a TON of people returning and the people that move up to replace the seniors are just as good as they were if not better

Scott Pettus of MBA is no doubt the most experienced hurler in Division II Middle Region, and stands as the prominent leader. BGA comes with more guys that can get it over the plate and make you hit the ball while they make plays. Father Ryan will have a good pitcher also in Vinnett. BA will be looking for leadership on the mound by Stephen Burris, and followed by Andrew Hogin and Brad Bowker.

yes..but i was just saying that i think they have a chance to be a strong team this year...alot of talent and skill and power...what do you think?

i think offensively they will be outstanding. I don't know much about their pitching past Tripp North, Ryan Moore, and Charles Williams but that is a good 1-2-3.

i haven't seen them pitch and haven't heard much about their pitching so I don't know.

there is a rumor going around that 6'9" sophmore basketball phenom brandon wright has been invited to play baseball and he would be considered for the closer role. he has a strong arm and by personal accounts i have seen him throw a football 65 yards pretty easily

If Brandon hasn't pitched in some years, I wouldn't be too worried.
