WrestleSBA
Tonka, I don't know who you are but that shows a complete lack of respect for some very good athletes. Obviously you are a Baylor fan but it is possible to be a Baylor fan and not throw out slander against other teams.
mtnrasslin
Read Tonka's other posts- he is definitely not a Baylor fan.

WrestleSBA
Well in that case I apologize for calling him one but I was going off the title of the string. However, all but the specifics of being a Baylor fan still stnad and it is that kind of attitude that diminishes the sport.
CoachBray
Why is CBHS obnoxious? Because some of them spoke out about getting the shaft? If trying to make sure your kids get a fair match is obnoxious, count me in. However, I believe that I would already be in the category. But anyway, it seems to be general consensus that you must be a Simpson to get an even shake at the duals. That's just what I'm hearing. Hamm
What exactly happened in the match to cause the 2 point deduction and the kick out?
WrestleSBA
Coach Bray, I wouldn't say you have to be a Simpson but at times it doesn't hurt to not be from the West. What it comes down to is that if you want to win from the West against the East or Middle then you need to make it so that the Ref's won't be able to affect the outcome. I complete back you on fighting for your kids though. I know I have made a few ref's upset when arguing a call but that is why we are there. However, I believe that I would already be in the category. I'll agree with that. How many times did you see Coach Lewis approach the table? Not too many. However, the Simpsons approach the table every two whistles. Of course, this is legal and expected, but you are crazy to believe that a coach should not do anything reasonable within his power to win. I personally thought he was right. I also talked to other people higher up on the food chain than me or you, and the general consensus was that the 2nd ref should not have had that much power. The first ref had a fine view, and most think he got it right the first time. That's just the way it goes. You work all year to get to the pinnacle. Are you going to sit in you chair and frown as the ref reverses a call that ends up costing you a match that you've worked toward all season? No way. cb56
There was a call where mba 71 had escaped from simpson and quickly grabbed ankle, stood with it, and drove Simpson, both on there feet, out of bounds. All he had was an anklein the air, but instead of just giving him one they confered with MBA coach Simpson and gave him 2 for reversal. Coach Lewis expressed disgust and they told him to calm down, but never warned him. Then, with seconds left, Simpson reversed and gained control for the win. The match was over and they were in the center, when both MBA coaches started screaming at the refs, which had happened several times already. They gave the coaches no warning, and after they both ran to the table to confer with the ref, the ref then decided to reverse his call and take Simpson's two points off the board. He lost, so Coach Lewis said TO HIS PLAYERS get up lets go, screaming, we forfeit. They said after we left the mat that Coach Lewis had been officially warned earlier that match (what I explained about the ankle) and that he approached the table after the match (which never happened) and deducted team points for both "incidents." CoachBray
And, as a ref, how do you kick out a coach when he wasn't officially warned? How do you kick out a coach who gets upset over your indecisiveness? Should he not be upset when a call is reversed (hardly ever seen) after concurring with other team's coach? Yeah, he got mad and a little loud. Just as the MBA coaches did at the end of regulation! He didn't curse them or threaten them or anything. But they want him to sit 2 dates, which just happens to be the state tournament. You have got to be kidding me!!!!! Especially when you are supposed to have possibly 6 in the finals!! Amazing!
