Well if i was ya'll i wouldn't talk about the Tennessean being a joke, your picks for the top five leave alot to be desired outside of Shelbyville. You put Harpeth Hall over Shelbyville, when Shelbyville has already beaten them, you have no mention of Jackson County who has already beaten the team that beat Harpeth Hall, then you go on to list Brentwood, a team Jackson County and Livingston Academy have already beaten, David Lipscomb won't even get out of their regional tournament, and will be lucky to win a game in it, heck they have been beaten by Hume-Fogg, a team Jackson County beat by 30! So if i was you i wouldn't talk about how bad the Tennessean is until you find out about girls basketball yourself! :justwrestle:

Here is a more realistic top 5.

#1 Shelbyville (still the reigning champion in AAA and will repeat)

#2 Jackson County (4 time defending AA state champion and favorite to win it)

#3 Livingston Academy

#4 Gibson County

#5 Seymour/Sevier County tie

Note: Mt Juliet would have been listed but with the injury to Clark they will not be a threat to the upper echelon of AAA.

devilfanatic....We don't always see eye to eye, but your poll is BY FAR more realistic than the other polls in this thread.

Yes i realize that its probably not perfect but atleast i have put 5 teams in their that would have an arguement for it, unlike the others.

Devilman, I think yours is not bad at all. Can you believe the post right after yours? Boy, I want some of whatever he or she is on. How beautiful life would look in that world of dreams.

1. Shelbyville - Playing their best ball right now, the same way they have played over the last couple of years heading into the tournaments.

2. Craigmont - With Jackson in the lineup, they have the only 1-2 punch to counter Fuller and Newman of Shelbyville.

3. Oak Ridge - Some early season stumbles, much like Shelbyville, seem to be out of their system as they look to make the stretch run they have fell short of the past couple of seasons

4. Jackson Co. - We all know that the Lady Blue Devils play their best over the last 5 years during the tournaments. While they have played close games and a late loss to Shelbyville recently, it is still hard to bet against Coach Brown, 4 Championships, and Marissa Hensley

5. Gibson Co. - Undefeated season speaks for itself. Coach Russell has turned this program into a frequent visitor to the 'Boro and could be poised for his first title with the Lady Pioneers.
