Lipscomb wins 57-50 (I think that's the score correct me if I'm wrong) in DOUBLE OVERTIME. Great game by both teams. Brent McPherson and Will Mantlo both had big 3's to keep the Mustangs in it late in the game. Lipscomb also hit some clutch free throws down the stretch in both overtimes. Great job by Lipscomb's student section also. Great game.

I don't know details, but the phone call I got said Lipscomb won in double OT by 7.

Here are some UNOFFICIAL stats ...For Lipscomb : Mantlo had 16 , Mayes had 14 , McPherson had 13 , Pennington had 4 , Hopkins with 3 , Pharr and Robertson with 2 each, and Scott had 3. For Springfield I believe Stanton was the leading scorer , not sure though.

What an exciting game. Great game by every senior on senior night. It was just meant for them to win. Mantlo has the corner spot on lockdown. For the most part this game was fast paced with Springfield rarely passing more than once or twice every trip down the floor. The DL student section wasnt very enthusiastic for the first half. However, towards the end of the 3rd they picked it up. Good Luck to the Mustangs at home vs. Greenbrier Tuesday Night. This first round game is going to be extremely tough.
