Jumbalaya
I know nobody will give them a chance, but you gotta look out for the Toppers. They've proved they can play with anybody. They played the Burros tough even though it was their 5th game in a week and they only play 7 players. With the syle of defense they play there was no way they had any legs left when they played for the championship. So it should be fun to watch...knowing Gamble knows Dist 12 better than any other coach. Now can he get his seniors to play with heart and be the leaders they need to be and can his 2 sophomores that start step up and provide some much needed offense. Go Toppers! You've proven you have a lot to be proud of!!
NCS03
I'm sorry but Franklin, Centennial, and Hillwood have no chance to win this tournament. The other teams in the region are just too strong.
Jumbalaya
NCS....no one can argue with that.....however, nobody would have bet their mortgage that Hillwood would be in the regionals, let alone in as a #2 seed. If I didnt have faith in my team, I wouldn't be much of a fan, now would I? Edited March 1, 2004 by Jumbalaya
FHSrebel27
I think all the District 11-AAA teams are strong and have a good chance. I think 12-AAA MIGHT be a little overrated. Keep in mind that Hillsboro has beaten Glencliff... Franklin has beaten McGavock. 11-AAA has defeated 12-AAA before and it certainly can happen this week. Good luck District 11-AAA- prove all these doubters wrong!
FHSrebel27
News from the Region: Glencliff's Jamont Gordon is a Class 3A Mr. Basketball Finalist. If you ask me, he'll be playing his last game tonight. I say Hillsboro will win with a differential of 5-10 points. Good luck HHS!
NCS03
I'm gonna take Glencliff by 10 tonight!
cobrafan90
I agree with FHSrebel, Do not underestimate 11-aaa. Hillsboro blew out Glencliff. Franklin beat McGavock. Stratford is probably the team to beat. All games will be battles.

fanatic1199
Now can he get his seniors to play with heart and be the leaders they need to be and can his 2 sophomores that start step up and provide some much needed offense. Jumbalaya, who are the two sophomores that start for Hillwood? Is one of them the 7 footer? That's pretty impresive that a #2 seed is starting 2 sophs. Should be a good game between Hillwood and MHS but my pick is Hillsboro to win the tournament, they are a complete team with a deep bench. hilltopper
Jeremy Safor and Jared Clodfelter both are sophmores and start for Hillwood.
