Best assistant coaches

Ray Guthrie at Mt. Pleasant is a volunteer assistant that puts in countless hours as an assistant coach for no pay. He juggles his work schedule around to make sure he's at all games and practices. A dedicated individual indeed.

Elrod, you might ought to get your facts straight before you get on here and accuse me of "recruiting" these players! I don't know how i recruited these players when i played against 3 of them in high school, not to mention i have been a high school coach all of 2 months now. I did talk to a couple of those kids a couple of years back, but that was because they played on my Babe Ruth team (I hope a coach can talk to his players), which has no affiliation whatsoever with the high school. I have been affiliated with the program since the fall of 2002, which would mean that half of the kids you have listed was already gone, and i was just coaching fall ball then. If you would like to discuss this further I will see you when we play our JV games this year i guess. But get your facts straight. Don't get on here and try to smear my name 2 months after i have started coaching, and you might want to talk to Wayne again because he has never had a talk with me about something you have said!

All I know is Arnold Hambright is the best assisstant coach in the state. For those who don't know were he is from it's Polk.

Coach Oaks at McMinn Central, He's a great hittin coach. And he has to be dedicated to put up with some of the stuff we do!

My fellow Wildcat is right with the choice of the one and only AT2 by far he is the most athletic and not to mention handsome coach in the whole State.

Coach Boo Ladd , Brentwood Academy. He is there hitting coach and heart and soul of the team. Without Boo, Ba would be plumb garbage. Im just on here to say thank you Coach Ladd.

as a devoted trustee of the BA baseball team i do too, agree with Mr. BABOB that Coach Boo Ladd has done singlehandetly more for the baseball team than baseball did for itself. he is also the first base coach too, and the field crew.

Kevin Creech of Columbia Academy is an outstanding assistant coach. He cares about his players and works hard to make them better. He has a bright coaching career ahead of him.

Trinity Christians Eric Quinn, I have never seen a man love to work like this guy does. He keeps their field looking great and does so much for every sport. Hes also a wonderful Godly man.

Jefferson Co.'s assistant coach may not be at the field as long as those coaches are but he is willing to stay after practice and help us with whatever kind of problems we are having whether it be hitting or anything. He is one of the best hitting coaches in the IMAC so whenever he stays after we usually get a lot out of it. Plus in the offseason he is the one that runs the winter workouts for us every single day from 3:30 till 5:30 pushing us to get better and to get ready for the season. So my vote goes to Coach Jones from Jefferson Co.
