What is everybody's thoughts on this game.

I am going to say it will be close with McMinn Central winning by 6 points.

Meaning Jackson County's run for a 5th state title ending. Also, Hensley not reaching 2000 points. :D:D

Marissa won't have any trouble getting her 2000th point on Saturday night, she is an outstanding player and that is a great accomplishment. I have watched her play against my Lady Wildcats four times this year and she has impressed me every time with something she has done on the floor, however last night it seemed as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders. I don't know if she is feeling the pressure from being nominated for Miss Basketball but she just seemed to be under a lot of pressure in the region tournament. Marissa, RELAX! As a senior who has had a stellar career, 3 State Championships, numerous awards, a Miss Basketball finalist, just enjoy what time you have left in a Lady Blue Devil uniform, play like you know how to play and let everything else fall where it may. Bob77 encourage your sister to just play her game and if she wins Miss Basketball then outstanding but if she doesn't and she leads her team to a fourth consecutive state championship then who cares about that individual award. I have seen her play so well this year and I just hate to see her end her career like this. She's a great talent and I just hope she relaxes and plays hard, if she does then Jackson County has a shot at returning to Murfreesboro.

Good Luck Jackson County, we hope to see you in the 'Boro.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
