Another All-Tournament snub

Four of the five starters for McMinn Central made the all-tournament team. The fifth, Tamara Moss, should have been co-MVP for the 3AA region tourney. 42 points in 3 games. McMinn Central wouldn't be playing a substate game, much less be playing at home without her performances. She gets my vote.

I couldn't agree more. Tamara really stepped up. She deserved to get co MVP w/ Patterson. They both had a great tournament. Good luck to Central on Saturday night vs. Jackson.

Region 5 did not give a MVP for girls or boys. The McEwen athletic director, who was the director of the region 5 tournament,

was against such awards. ...Unless his team would have happened to won (which

it did not).

Don't really see what the Tournament Director(TSSAA) was looking for especially when you look at each players' numbers:

I wasn't there- Didn't even see the game, so this is just a guess............simply a guess, maybe FOR ONCE in basketball history they went by something other than points- like rebounds, assists, steals, deflections, etc...................... I dunno-Tamara could have done all of that too- again- I wasn't there. Just wondering?
