Am I mistaken, or is there a little excitement in the air in Lawrence County?

No you are not mistaken Inot2bad, there is excitement in the air in Lawrence County. I don't ever recall a time that two teams from this county making it to the state tourney in the same year. Better yet, playing on the same night, in back to back games. I want to congratulate al the girls on both teams for playing with a lot of heart and for making it to the Boro. Also, I would like to say great season to the Lady Cats of LCHS, it would have been wild if ya'll would have made it as well. But you girls had a heck of a year and don't hold your heads down, there will be other games. See all of you in the Boro come Wednesday night.

As a diehard LCHS fan, like most fans of their alumni, I want to beat Loretto and Summertown every year in every sport as bad as possible. But, when it gets tournament time I hope both teams do as well as possible. It say's alot about the athletes in our county. As hard as it will be to cheer for Loretto and Summertown I'll be there supporting both teams 100% just like I would LCHS. Go get'em girls beat'em all by 30 points.

Way to go Lady Mustangs. Come Wednesday win or lose this has been a great year. I was there in 98 and 02 cheering for the Lady Wildcats. I hope to see the same support from the Wildcat fans this year for both teams.

Well said golfcat, I remember in '98 on the way to the final game, a sign on the highway in Summertown that read "Good Luck Lady Cats, from the Summertown Eagles Fans". Like the song says "We may fight a little bit amongst ourselves, but you outside people best leave us alone!"
