handyy
I've heard that Clay County has the makings of a great baseball team. They have returning seniors and a more experienced coach. I hear all this talk of them being overrated, but I don't know how. Could someone tell me more?

bulldawg44
We're tryin to start a program down here, but we havent been on the field lately because of weather and what-not. It don't matter if we beat you or not rbsdawgs, because even the good ol' folks of clay co. will always be able to beat you in speaking correctly. swanson71
Clay Co. is returning most of there starters from last year...just like Pickett Co. and RBS...they should be the top 3 teams this year...but you cant forget monterey...even though they lost some players...they have a great coach and they could suprise a few teams...H.S. and Clarkrange are really going to be hurting...but we will just have to wait and see what happens... bulldawg44
I personally think the district is a toss-up this year. It could go to anybody.
ELA
Bulldawg44 don't overlook Monterey... Coach Looper will have his boys ready to play! It should be a close district this year. Good luck to everyone!
geeker
this district will be one to keep an eye on. RBS, Celina, and Pickett are all returning a lot of starters. Monterey is rebuilding, but Coach Looper can build a team. He will have Monterey ready to play and any one of these teams can win on any day. I think the district will be really tight this year. orangecrush
I am going to go out on a limb. Monterey wins District 7A again because of one intangible, Coach Looper. Edited March 11, 2004 by orangecrush
LWard
Orange Crush, What's up coachie? Yes, Coach Looper is an intangible that gives monterey something special. However, there is another factor that could influence monterey's success. Steroids. Just a joke
