Folks shouldn't be fooled by Bearden's district record. They've played some good ball lately.

Bizazz is headed out of town, so he asked me to post that West beat Central by a score of 8-5.

Farragut whipped Bearden tonight 12-0 in a five inning contest. Rob Catapano throw a no-no against the Dawgs. Kyle hits two bombs, with Harrison Eldridge ending the game on his shot in the 5th inning.

 

What else can you say? Bearden now stands at 15-16 overall, with a 5-9 district record, finishing a very disappointing 7th in District 4 AAA. Two games remain on the schedule: Cookeville visits Bearden Saturday at 1:00pm. The game earlier in the season at Cookeville was a good one. Maybe the Cookeville coach will put on another show for us! The final regular season game is against Webb on Tuesday at 6:00pm at Bearden.

kyle wishes he played bearden every game, cause in the two games he's played, he's gone 4-4 w/ 3 hr's and 1 2b with 3 intentional walks, two of the walks with a runner on first base, thats a 3.500 slg%, the first game was also a 3 hit shutout, he must have bearden's number

It's not there in any major sport. Football? Basketball? Softball? Soccer? Certainly not baseball. 28 - 0 in two games, one of them a no hitter. Farragut has our number in just about everything.
