Phillip Simpson = All-American!

With a 6-5 double OT win, Phillip Simpson becomes an All-American for the second time. However, it's a very tough road ahead to get to the 3rd place match. Next up is the #6 seed Johnny Hendricks from Oklahoma State, then the #1 seed and runner-up from last year, Alex Tirapelle from Illinois, who was upset in the semis. In the 3rd place match Phillip will probably face the defending National Champ, Ryan Bertin from Michigan, who also lost in the semis. GO PHILLIP!

Unfortunately, Phillip lost his last two matches to finish in 8th. However, 2nd All-American Honors with one more year to go only adds up to one conclusion...The Boy's Not Done Yet! I'm sure everyone in the Tennessee Wrestling Community will agree with me in saying Congratulations, Phillip on an Outstanding Job!
