Port_Vol
Blueeagle the hometown paper has put out several articles on the Eagles; other than game reports. I think there was a year in review and 04-05 preview wrap up story last week, and someone told me that there could be another feature upcoming. JimmyChitwood
Just curious, what is Stoney Creeks zip code? Its really a part of Elizabethton isnt it? Hampton and Roan Mtn (Cloudland) do have their own zip codes in Carter county; Stoney Creek is the unofficial name for the Community; Correct? Isnt all stoney creekers address 'Elizabethton'? My wife told me she overheard (at Food City maybe) "There's Cosby on the front page again" "why don't they cover Cocke County High like that..??" She had to interupt and add " Cocke County lost and is done playing. Cosby might have both teams go to state this year." Even though that didn't happen I only have good things to say about Cosby coverage in our local paper and radio also.

Jimmy, Stoney Creek is located in the upper east end of the county, You have to go thru Elizabethon coming east to get to Stoney Creek.... The zip code for most of The Creek is 37643.... It's probably the prettiest section of Carter County, well it and Roan Mountain.. If you're looking on a map, take HWY 91 out of Elizabethton...it'll lead you right to it... Campbelle2
I take my hat off to Tim Chambers for this article. This is one of the most touching stories in state tourney history. Congratulations to their players, coaches, fans and student body from Hancock County. Thanks for holding up the honor for Northeast Tennessee and Region 1.
