Vandy In The Sweet 16

I know this is a high school sports website, but I just wanted to congratulate Vanderbilt on their trip to the sweet 16. And a special congratulations to Mario Moore who played at Antioch, Jason Holwerda from Chatt. Christian, and Julian Terrell from Ezell-Harding as they have all had pretty big roles for the Commodores this season. Again, congrats to Vandy, the players, and schools represented by these players, and let's pull off another upset.

Interesting that two of these guys are Class A players that usually get no respect. All three of these guys played for Charlie Benson and the Tennessee Travelers. Two of these guys are from Middle Tennessee and one is from East Tennessee. Good luck to Vandy in the Tourney.

Both Julian and Jason got tons of respect in high school. If anything, a great A player gets more respect than a great AAA player because he is able to more effectively dominate his competition. Both were fantastic in high school, and I commend them as well as Mario for their success this season.

Interesting that when Vandy was unbeaten in the pre-conference schedule, someone on this board suggested that the Dores would fold once the conference schedule began.

I hate the way they are trashing Vandy on ESPN, don't you? Every team in the sweet 16 demands some respect! ESPN analysts have missed a bunch of upsets. They are a bunch of chumps. Go 'Dores! Get the big upset!
