Call me old school (and proud of it), but starting the season in Japan,and then coming back for some more exhibition games, and then restarting it again this weekend-makes no sense. Give me the Reds afternoon home opener and everybody else playing the next day. And nickel beer.

I can just see the headlines in the New York Post

"Yanks Collapse-No Series In Sight"

"A-Rod Stinks it Up-Overpaid, Underproduced"

"Mussina Washed Up, Torched By Vaunted D-Ray Bats"

"Yanks Need Better Pitching"

"Torre Not On Hot Seat, but Losing Streak Must STOP! says George"

      I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.

      I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back

      That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
