Bonds is on a tear. Last night I heard that he has swung and missed less (7) than he has homeruns (9) this year.

I doubt that Bonds is still on steroids but I do think he was at once. He's not stupid enough to stay on them after all of this controversy about them. To hit the ball you have to have a good eye first, which I'll admit he does. But he also gets all of the close calls. You don't go from never hitting 50 home runs to hitting 73 in a season by just working out, that's impossible. To answer the original question though, I do think he will break the record barring some kind of injury. My predicted date is August 19th 2005.

Guys hes always had good eyes. He just wasnt killing homers and batting .350. If seroids didnt helpt that much then no one would take the risk to take them.

Bad pitching. Oversized pitchers that throw it down the middle to oversized skilled fastball hitters at 92 mph. Very few great pitchers in the game today verses great hitters. Just my opinion.
