Last year's Nike team

Are Shelbyville stars, Alex Fuller and Ashleigh Newman, playing AAU anywhere this spring? What about any of the others like Sade Buley, Laura Hall, etc. I haven't heard much talk about those girls and AAU this time around?

These girls are preparing for college at this time. I haven't heard of any of them playing AAU.

 

I did read somewhere that Ashleigh Newman is playing fastpitch softball for the Shelbyville Eaglettes and doing a great job.

 

I believe all of the Seniors from last year's NIKE team have signed though. That shows how important it is to get exposure during the Spring/Summer months as many of the young ladies who signed would not have been seen by the colleges they signed with had they not been playing over the Spring/Summer.

Laura Hall is helping Coach Shelbyville Sports Shop 12s.

Newman is playing fastpitch softball and Fuller is not playing AAU, preparing for college (resting). Hall is coaching SSS 12's.
