Sequatchie
How did things go at the Orange & White game? Anyone stand out? How did the QB's look? I didn't go but reading on a UT board. A few folks like the way C.J. Leak handled the offense. It was really hard to tell anything as all the players were put into a draft and picked to either the Orange team or the White team. One surprise is walk-on runningback David Yancey. addictedtosports.com
Where did Yancey play in high school? That name rings a bell for some reason.
fromthetop2
Yancey is from Virginia. I asked Jason Allen what was up with this kid and he said that he'd not real big, not real fast, but impossible to tackle. He's real quick and just gets yards. Trooper Taylor loves this kid, and is also, IMO using him to shake up any complacency the returning Parade All-Americans have coming into the summer. addictedtosports.com
If Jason Allen gives him praise he must be tough. There is nothing like finding a diamond in the rough.
