Should a coach be aggresive with his players?

Should a baseball coach take an aggresive approach to practice...such as extra sprints when something is'nt accomplished or something of that nature. I beleive its the only way to do it...I mean if the coach is aggressive and stays on someones rear then they get better.

I believe every coach should have his own whip and beat the kids silly when they mess up. darn kids will play better then

Coaches don't just coach teams; they coach players. A good coach decides how best to motivate each individual.

A coach should definitely be aggressive with his players. That is how you get the best out of them. If you put a little fear in them, then they will strive to do right the next time.

I think a coach should be aggresive with his players... it demands respect. As punisher said, it puts a little fear into us players to do things the correct way. If not, face the consequences. However, I don't see it as a punishment, I see it as if the coach is trying to get the best out of us and to make us stronger baseball players.
