Starting last year, the TSSAA changed its state format to include eight teams, which means the qualifying round you are trying to predict would actually include sixteen teams and eight games, two teams from each region, with the winners of each game going to Memphis. Good start, but try adding more teams to be accurate.

Harpeth will not make it to the state finals this year, they are a very inconsistent team. Even though I am a region 5 fan, I believe two teams from region 6 may make it to state this year.

I agree Harpeth will not make it to state. They wont even make it out of there own district. They have good hitting and ok pitching but they are an up and down team like Bertier said.

out of 6AA Hixon Grundy and Marion have the ability to make the final 8.

I think these teams will have to beat Walker Valley to make it to the final 8 and I doubt they will be able to do it.

Yall need to hide and watch Covington. they are very young and talented. And also don't forget about the defending champs Ripley. There is no team in Memphis thatcan beat either one of these two teams if they advance in the regionals but advancing in the regionals will be no cake walk for either team.

Ripley was good last year, but this year they are what, 19 and 10. I dont think they have what it takes this year to make it to the state tourney.

Ripley's record wasn't much better this time last year. They just got a lot of lucky breaks that went their way. All they have to do to make it back to the state is win 4 games and their in. 2 in District tournament 1 regional and 1 sub state

Well what do you think about Harpeth now. They may not win another game, but they made all of the people on coach t take notice. We are talking about young men who at most have 12 or 13 years of baseball under their belts, anything can happen. I will say one thing about Harpeth, they have the finest two Seniors who have taken the underclassmen under their wing and made the Freshmen feel just as much a part of this team as anyone else. This is a team that plays hard, wins together, loses together, and takes one game at a time and gives 125% everytime they hit the field. The bad news for everybody else in baseball land, they will lose two good ball players but only two, watch out in 06.
